About the Role

As Senior Lecturer in Supply Chain Management, you'll join the Department of Business Analytics & Applied Economics to bring current industry expertise into our supply chain and operations programmes. You'll lead industry partnerships for guest lecture series and capstone projects on themes like sustainable supply chains, AI in supply chains and supply chain resilience, teach across undergraduate and postgraduate provision, and drive curriculum innovation. You'll also build lasting links with practitioners, consultants and industry bodies.

About You

You're an experienced professional with substantial expertise in analytics applied to supply chains and operations management. You hold a PhD in Operations Management, Operations Research, Management Science or Industrial Engineering, or equivalent professional experience, membership of a relevant professional body (e.g. CIPS, CILT), and HE teaching accreditation (or willingness to work towards it). You bring current, national-level standing in your field, a network you can draw on for students' benefit, and a proven ability to design and deliver high-quality teaching across areas like procurement, logistics or supply chain risk. You communicate complex ideas clearly and have a track record of mentoring others.
