The role
The University of Bristol is seeking to appoint an outstanding Professor of Cyber Security to join the internationally recognised Bristol Cyber Security Group (BCSG) in the School of Computer Science.
This is an exceptional opportunity for an established academic leader to shape the future of cyber security research and education within one of the UK's leading research-intensive universities. We are looking for an internationally recognised scholar whose research aligns with and complements the strengths of the BCSG and who can provide strategic leadership, inspire colleagues and students, and deliver world-leading research with real-world impact.
BCSG is one of the UK's largest and most influential cyber security research communities, bringing together researchers across cyber-physical systems, software security, usable security and privacy, and cybercrime and online harms. The Group has a strong track record of securing major research funding, influencing policy and practice, and delivering impactful interdisciplinary research in collaboration with industry, government and international partners.
