Term 1 (September 2026 Start)
The Department of Finance and Computer Science at the University of Winchester is currently seeking Associate Lecturers (hourly paid) in Computer Science. The ideal candidates will be teaching across Computer Science, BSc (Hons) Cyber Security and BSc (Hons) Software Engineering programmes.
This is an excellent opportunity to teach within a supportive and engaging academic environment, working with motivated students across a range of modules. The ideal candidate will have teaching experience in subjects including, but not limited to Principles of Programming, Computer Architectures, High Performance Computational Simulation, Distributed Systems and the Internet of Things, Inclusive Applications Development, Systems Testing, Cross Platform Development, Disruptive Open-Source Development, DevOps for Organisations and Multimedia Networking.
Essential experience
✔ Strong background in above subject discipline
✔ Experience or confidence teaching at undergraduate level
✔ Ability to deliver evidence-informed, applied content in an engaging, student-centred manner
Desired
✔ Experience of taking on module leadership responsibilities
✔ Experience of designing and developing your own teaching materials
✔ A postgraduate qualification or above in a relevant subject

Rate: £45.25 per hour plus holiday pay
