Westminster College is seeking to appoint a two -year fixed term Tutor in Old Testament Language, Literature and Theology, with the possibility of an extension to a third year of employment. We are looking for a scholar and teacher with a passion for assisting the Church in exploring scripture as it shapes its faith, practice and mission. The College currently prepares students for ministry in the United Reformed Church, but it also teaches a growing number of independent students. Holding a PhD, you will be able to teach biblical Hebrew and related Old Testament studies at undergraduate and post- graduate levels. You will teach across a range of awards within the Cambridge Theological Federation (CTF), including Hebrew language and advanced Hebrew Bible modules. As an active researcher you will help develop the research profile of Westminster College as it develops its graduate and post-graduate programmes. You will share in formational and pastoral work with Westminster students and assume such administrative duties as are required and directed by the College Principal.
