Resuscitation Council UK (RCUK) is seeking an experienced registered healthcare professional to join our Clinical and Service Development team as a Clinical Lead. This is an opportunity to help shape nationally and internationally recognised resuscitation courses, clinical guidance and educational resources.
We support healthcare professionals caring for patients of all ages across acute, community and out-of-hospital settings. Applicants may come from a range of clinical or educational backgrounds but should be able to demonstrate expertise and a strong commitment to resuscitation practice or education.
You do not need experience across all age groups. We would particularly welcome applications from candidates with experience or an interest in ReSPECT, in-hospital neonatal care, paediatric life support or technology-enabled learning design, although these are not essential.
As a Clinical Lead, you will act as an expert clinical resource for RCUK and its stakeholders. You will advise NHS Trusts and Health Boards, healthcare organisations, course centres, instructors and partner organisations, as well as providing appropriate clinical guidance to members of the public, patients and their families.
You will contribute to the oversight and development of RCUK courses, guidance and educational resources, helping to maintain high standards and respond to the changing needs of healthcare professionals and learners.
We would expect the successful candidate to be an active RCUK Instructor with current involvement in resuscitation practice or education.
You will be joining a small, committed clinical team working to improve resuscitation practice and patient outcomes. If you would bring enthusiasm, expertise and ideas to our work, we would be pleased to hear from you.
What we can offer you:
We offer competitive salaries, generous annual leave, and opportunities for professional development. All staff benefit from flexible working hours, and ensuring staff can balance their work and personal life is important to us.
