Supporting the NIHR BioResource programme at the Oxford University Hospitals Biomedical Research Centre, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality clinical research that helps advance the understanding and treatment of disease. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in clinical research who enjoys working directly with patients and research participants while coordinating studies to the highest regulatory standards.

Working closely with the NIHR BioResource research team, you will coordinate the day-to-day delivery of research studies, recruit and consent participants, manage study documentation and databases, collect and process clinical samples, and ensure compliance with Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and research governance requirements. You will liaise with clinicians, research teams, sponsors and participants, support study reporting and regulatory activities, organise community engagement events, and contribute to the successful delivery of NIHR BioResource projects across Oxford and the wider region.

It is essential that you have experience recruiting participants into medical research studies, together with excellent organisational, communication and administrative skills. You will be confident handling confidential information, managing competing priorities, and working both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. Experience in a clinical research environment, knowledge of clinical trial regulations and governance, and familiarity with research administration or stock management would be advantageous.
