This post is full time (35 hours per week) and has funding available until 26 January 2028.
In this role, the successful candidate will contribute to a project "Development and application of advanced high-resolution 3D cellular and subcellular time-course imaging in the beating heart” working with Professor Jonathan Taylor and in collaboration with Edinburgh University.
Specifically, the job requires expert knowledge in software for realtime microscope control and image processing, and electronic control of experimental apparatus. The postholder will also be expected to contribute to the formulation and submission of research publications and research proposals as well as help manage and direct this complex and challenging project as opportunities allow.
