Temporary 5-year post (Covering Secondment)
Applications are invited for a temporary post of Contracts & Mobilisation Manager within UCD Research.
The Grant Registration and Mobilisation Team (GRT) and the Contracts & Finance Teams provide a seamless, integrated service to researchers during the initial phases of the project lifecycle. Together, they manage grant registration, set up research accounts, negotiate and review contracts, and coordinate communications between researchers, other support units, and external stakeholders. The teams also provide crucial support to grant holders during project mobilisation to ensure a smooth and timely transition from funding award to project start.
The Contracts and Mobilisation Manager will provide strategic leadership to both teams and drive excellent services delivery to UCD research community and partners. The post holder will also collaborate closely with our research leaders, legal, finance, HR, and external stakeholders to align operations with institutional goals. Additionally, the post holder will play a key role in delivering UCD Strategic Initiatives by integrating early-stage grant management with pre- and post-award services to provide a researcher-centric and seamless support for the full lifecycle of university research.
