Permanent Whole-Time Post
UCC wishes to appoint an academic to the role of Lecturer (Above the Bar) in International Law to contribute to the development of the School’s research, programmes and engagement ambitions. Reporting to the Dean of Law, the postholder will be expected to be research active, building on existing areas of research strength in the School. Furthermore, they would be expected to engage in leadership roles within the School and make a full contribution to the School’s programmes at undergraduate and postgraduate level, as appropriate.
Applications are particularly sought from applicants with a track record of teaching and research in the broad area of international law, including public international law; European Union law; international humanitarian law; international environmental law and governance; and international maritime and marine law.

Salary placement on appointment will be in accordance with public sector pay policy.
