We cannot provide advice to candidates at the application stage and will only discuss visa routes with candidates who are invited to interview.

We are seeking to appoint a permanent Student Outcomes Officer to work in the Outcomes team, in the Centre for Quality, Support and Development. Reporting to the Student Outcomes Manager, you will collaborate across a range of projects that aim to reduce the ‘awarding gap’ (differences in academic outcomes between students from marginalised backgrounds and their peers).

You will also work closely with the Student-Staff Partnerships Manager to help amplify student voice through the Student Partner, Student Panel and Inclusion Consultant schemes. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference to equality of opportunity and work collaboratively on a diverse portfolio.

You will be an organised and motivated individual with a genuine passion for academic equality and the student voice. You will have excellent communication skills and a demonstrable ability to work with a wide range of staff and students. You will be confident managing competing priorities and have a good understanding of how to work with data and prepare reports.

We offer:

  • A competitive pension scheme.
  • 21 days’ annual leave entitlement.
  • Family and carer leave entitlement.
  • Discounts and deals, including on travel.
  • A 130-hectare campus that includes a lake, botanical gardens and sports facilities.

We welcome applications from both external and internal candidates.

The University is committed to having a diverse and inclusive workforce, supports the gender equality Athena SWAN Charter and the Race Equality Charter, and champions LGBT+ equality. We are a Disability Confident Employer (Level 2). Applications for job-share, part-time and flexible working arrangements are welcomed and will be considered in line with business needs.
