An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Administrative Officer (Tuition Fees) to join Registry Student Services at the University of Aberdeen. This position will lead the University's Tuition Fees team, ensuring the effective administration of student tuition fee processes and the delivery of a high-quality service to students, colleagues and external funding partners.
We are seeking a proactive and motivated individual who can demonstrate initiative, strong leadership skills and a commitment to continuous improvement. The ability to work accurately under pressure, communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders and drive enhancements to service provision will be key to success in this role. Strong organisational skills, excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities are essential.
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing tuition fee administration and invoicing activities, managing a small team, and providing expert guidance on tuition fee policies and procedures. They will work closely with colleagues across the University and with external organisations, including the Student Awards Agency Scotland (SAAS) and the Student Loans Company (SLC), ensuring compliance with changing funding requirements and supporting the development of efficient and effective services.
Salary will be at the appropriate point on Grade 6, £38,784 - £46,049 with placement according to qualifications and experience.
