We are now at a defining moment in UoSM’s journey. At the heart of this transformation is the Triple Helix model of Education, Research and Knowledge Exchanged & Enterprise which integrates high-quality teaching, world-class research, and active collaboration with industry, government, and communities to deliver tangible societal and economic impact.

The role:

As part of our ambitious growth strategy, we are seeking to appoint an Assistant Professor in Digital Marketing to support the continued development of our Marketing portfolio, including the MSc Digital Marketing and BSc Marketing programmes.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering lectures, developing assessments, supervising student projects, and contributing to an outstanding student learning experience.

About you:

We particularly welcome applications from candidates with relevant industry experience in digital agencies, corporate marketing departments, or related fields, who can bridge the gap between academic theory and contemporary marketing practices through the integration of real-world insights and case studies. You will join a collaborative and inclusive academic community committed to excellence in education, impactful research and meaningful engagement with industry and society. At UoSM, we place equal importance on achievement, innovation, collaboration and the wellbeing and development of our people.

At the University of Southampton Malaysia, we are committed to creating an environment where everyone can thrive. Guided by our core values of Safety, Respect, and Growth, we foster an inclusive culture where everyone feels valued and empowered to bring their whole selves to work. We support our staff through generous leave, additional University closure days, and a flexible working approach where appropriate.

Application procedure:

If you are enthusiastic about shaping the future of foundation education at a globally recognised institution, we welcome your application.

Internal candidates are encouraged to apply. Applications will be considered in accordance with the University's recruitment and selection procedures.
