This is an exciting opportunity to join Development and Alumni Engagement (DAE) at a pivotal moment, following the recent launch of the University’s Oxford Excellence campaign - a major philanthropic initiative supporting world-leading research and student opportunity across Oxford. We are looking for a Development Coordinator to play a key role in enabling high-quality fundraising and donor engagement activity.
About Us
Spanning the historic streets of the "city of dreaming spires", the University of Oxford has been ranked the world’s leading university for ten consecutive years. A place where centuries of tradition meet world-changing innovation, we offer you the chance to shape the future while working in an inspiring environment that promotes excellence. Apply now to become part of our extraordinary legacy.
Development and Alumni Engagement (DAE) builds meaningful relationships with alumni and donors to support Oxford’s academic priorities, research and student opportunities. Working across the collegiate University, the Donor Relations, Stewardship and Fundraising Support team enables effective donor engagement through excellent stewardship, coordination and supporter care.
About the Role
As Development Coordinator (Medical Sciences), you will play a central role in ensuring the smooth running of fundraising and donor engagement activity, working principally in support of the Medical Sciences Divisional fundraising team. You will provide reliable, well-organised administrative and coordination support that enables colleagues to focus on building and sustaining relationships with donors.
Working at the heart of a professional fundraising environment, you will help maintain high-quality data, support effective use of CRM systems, and ensure that donor interactions, gifts and stewardship activity are accurately recorded and followed through. Your work will directly contribute to the integrity and effectiveness of fundraising operations across DAE.
You will also support the delivery of donor meetings, visits and events, helping to coordinate logistics, prepare materials and ensure timely follow-up. This is a varied and collaborative role, offering exposure to a wide range of fundraising activities and stakeholders, and the opportunity to continuously develop your skills in a high-performing, purpose-driven environment.
