About us

The UCL School of Management is home to UCL’s business and management research and education programmes, with a reputation for world-leading research and teaching in innovation management, technology-intensive organisations, business analytics and entrepreneurship.

Since 2025, the School has been undergoing rapid expansion, with a strategy to double staff and student numbers over the coming years. This includes new programmes, additional staff and enhanced facilities at our Canary Wharf campus, supporting our mission to educate socially conscious entrepreneurial leaders.

About the role

The International Programmes Officer will support the School’s International Programmes Strategy and wider Global Engagement Strategy, coordinating international partnerships, student exchange programmes and teaching-led international activities.

The post holder will act as the first point of contact for international programmes enquiries and provide operational support for developing and delivering academic partnerships with international universities. Working with the Director of International Programmes, they will prepare reports, proposals and partnership documentation and liaise with UCL departments and external partners to ensure compliance with UCL processes.

Salary – UCL Grade 7: £43,981 to £52,586 per annum (including London Allowance)

About you

The successful candidate will be educated to degree level, or equivalent, or have significant relevant experience in higher education or a similar environment.

You will have experience interpreting academic regulations, undertaking research and preparing reports, briefs and proposals. You will be able to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders and work collaboratively to support academic programmes.

Experience of working in an academic environment and engaging with international partners to support student-focused international activities is essential. You will also have experience building relationships with international stakeholders, including students, alumni, UCL colleagues and external organisations.

Experience designing and delivering both online and in-person international short courses is also essential.
