The post holder will be responsible for the delivery of large group tutorials to year two students on the MB BS Programme. Y2 students are divided into alpha and beta groups delivered AM and PM alternate weeks over a 24-week programme - so the Post Holder delivers the same tutorial for 4 groups over two consecutive Thursdays. Year Two MB BS students learn about pathophysiology and the impact of disease through a combination of Applied Life Sciences, Health and Society, Clinical Reasoning and Clinical Skills, Ethics and Professionalism and placement-based learning (students alternate primary and secondary care placements for half a day each week).

In addition to provision of the Tutorial programme, the Post Holder will be expected to participate in 8 additional sessions of activities each year which contribute to HYMS’ overall Programme needs: course management updates, examining, interviewing for entrants, open days, communication masterclass etc.
