Liverpool Hope University is seeking an innovative Learning and Teaching Technical Officer.
This exciting role sits at the heart of the University's learning and teaching innovation agenda, supporting staff and students to make effective use of specialist learning spaces and digital technologies. The postholder will play a key role in developing and supporting activity within the Sim Lab, podcasting facilities and other specialist learning environments, helping to create engaging and innovative teaching and learning experiences. We are looking for someone who has experience in a technical or digital support role, creating podcasts, training others to use educational technologies, managing equipment booking systems and working confidently with a range of digital platforms and Microsoft Office applications. Excellent communication, organisational and IT skills are essential, along with the ability to work independently, manage competing priorities and build effective relationships.
We are looking for someone who is proactive, adaptable and committed to delivering an excellent service. The successful candidate will also be willing to undertake ongoing professional development and work occasional evenings and weekends to support University events, including Open Days and Applicant Days.
This post is permanent subject to a 12-month probationary period.
