Department
Soft FM Services are responsible for cleaning and portering services to the university’s academic, administrative, and residential estate. Soft FM facilitates all university key events, such as graduation and open days and ensures areas are prepared for other events such as receptions and summer conferences.
Soft FM Services is looking to recruit an enthusiastic Cleaner to join our busy team.
Duties of the role
The cleaning and preparation of various areas in the academic and associated buildings such as seminar rooms, offices, toilets, corridors, lifts, laboratories, meeting rooms and gymnasiums.
Skills and Experience
We are looking for a self-motivated and personable individual who has a real passion for delivering cleaning services to the highest standards.
Understanding of any Health and Safety information/guidance in order the carry out the safe use of chemical and equipment is desirable.
You will be part of a dedicated team of cleaners delivering cleaning services to the academic and administrative estate, working one of the shift patterns mentioned in the job description.
Hours
Weekend Shift– 15 hours per week to be worked. Current working hours for this post are Saturday and Sunday 5.30am to 1.45pm.
