The Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic team player who will make a positive contribution to our Bioscience and Chemistry provision, mainly supporting undergraduate Chemistry (and other Biosciences courses as required).
In this role you will be expected to deliver lectures, tutorials, group teaching sessions, support the delivery of laboratory practical classes and to undertake assessment work and marking.
We have a thriving research culture in the School, and you will be given the opportunity to continue your existing areas of research or benefitting from support within the institute to begin or develop a research profile.

The School
The School of Biosciences and Chemistry provides courses in applied biological and chemical sciences, all delivered in a supportive, research-informed environment. The School consists of approximately 50 academic staff, active in research and with an excellent reputation for teaching.
We deliver a wide range of courses preparing applied science graduates for professional roles in biosciences, healthcare, chemistry sectors and beyond.
Our research is aimed at increasing understanding of the molecular and cellular basis of health and disease and its application to diagnosis, monitoring and treatment. We also excel in the application of analytical techniques to pharmaceutical, environmental and materials chemistry.
