We're recruiting for a Visiting Tutor – Professional Experience Year to join the teaching team delivering our Professional Experience Year (PEY) programme, supporting postgraduate students to build the professional skills, confidence and reflective practice they need to succeed in graduate employment.
This role is ideal for someone with hands-on experience delivering employability, professional skills or work-integrated learning teaching. You will deliver engaging, practice-focused teaching, provide timely and constructive feedback, and support students through tutorials and office hours as they prepare for and reflect on their professional experience. Working closely with the Portfolio Lead and the wider teaching team, you will help ensure a consistent, high-quality experience across the programme.
The rate of pay for Visiting Tutors is £57.52 per hour. This rate includes: contact time, preparation, marking, and annual leave. Additional marking and moderation and content development is paid at the rate of £27.32 per hour. When required this will be agreed in advance by a Dean or Deputy Dean.
