This is a great opportunity for a Facilities Manager (Accommodation) to join the University’s Accommodation Services.
In this role you will lead the effective delivery of both hard and soft facilities services and lifecycle maintenance, overseeing budgets, contracts, statutory compliance, and health and safety obligations. You will drive continuous improvement to enhance sustainability, value for money, and the overall customer experience across the accommodation portfolio.
Working closely with the Accommodation Services Management team and in consultation with the Estates team, you will contribute to the achievement of departmental strategic and operational objectives. You are accountable for the implementation and delivery of relevant policies, objectives, standards, and service delivery targets.
You will also support Accommodation Services in meeting its operational and financial objectives by leading the Accommodation Facility Operative team and manage all third-party technical services and property maintenance contracts. You will ensure that buildings, student accommodation, grounds, amenities, and communal spaces consistently meet organisational standards for quality, safety, statutory compliance, and long-term asset performance.
