Lead academic quality assurance at a bilingual, research-active university in North Wales.
This senior role oversees QA frameworks and compliance (QAA, ESG, CMA for current students), curriculum management, collaborative provision, external review and accreditation processes, and deputy responsibility for Safeguarding and Prevent. You'll also work with the PVC Education & Student Experience to oversee the Centre for the Enhancement of Learning and Teaching (CELT), including its CPD programme and annual conference, working closely with academic and professional services colleagues to drive continuous improvement.
We're looking for strong Higher Education quality assurance experience including academic partnerships, excellent stakeholder and influencing skills, and the ability to manage competing priorities under pressure. You should be educated to a postgraduate degree level or have equivalent experience. The ability to communicate in Welsh fluently is desirable for this post.
This role will be located on campus at Bangor. Through our Dynamic Working framework, there will also be the option to spend some time working remotely (although remaining in the UK) to support work life balance, which will be discussed further with candidates at interview. Applications will also be considered to carry out this role on a part-time or job share basis.
Applications will only be accepted via our on-line recruitment website, jobs.bangor.ac.uk. However, in cases of access issues due to disability, paper application forms are available by telephoning 01248 383865.
