Trinity Business School (TBS) is an internationally ranked innovative business school and part of Trinity College Dublin, Ireland’s oldest and highest-ranking university. TBS is implementing its strategy Transforming Business for Good, focusing on sustainability, transformation through innovation and social inclusion.
The School invites applications for a strategic appointment at Associate Professor level in Entrepreneurship and Innovation, with a particular focus on Artificial Intelligence, Digital Entrepreneurship and Innovation Management.
This appointment forms part of TBS's strategic ambition to establish itself as Ireland's leading business school for entrepreneurship, innovation and responsible digital transformation. The successful candidate will play a central role in advancing the School's teaching, research and external engagement in entrepreneurship while contributing to the development of the Trinity Student Entrepreneurship Hub.
We seek an internationally recognised scholar whose research advances digital entrepreneurship, platform-based business models, AI-enabled venture creation, digital transformation or entrepreneurial ecosystems. The successful candidate will demonstrate an excellent record of research quality together with evidence that their work informs entrepreneurial practice, policy or executive decision-making.
The successful candidate will contribute to teaching across undergraduate, postgraduate and executive education programmes, particularly: the MSc in Entrepreneurship & Innovation, MBA programmes, Executive Education, undergraduate entrepreneurship and innovation modules.
They will also contribute to the continued development of AI-enhanced teaching practices, experiential entrepreneurship education, venture-based learning and digital learning environments.
Hours of work: Hours of work for academic staff are governed by the applicable Public Service Agreements.
Salary: This appointment will be made on the Associate Professor Salary Scale (€92,984 - €120,072 per annum) at a point in line with current Government pay policy.
