About the role
Are you an experienced teacher with expertise in research impact and knowledge exchange? Would you like to work with our early career researchers (PhD students, postdocs and research fellows) to develop their skills in this area? This is an exciting opportunity to join the learning & development team in the Early Career Researcher Institute (ECRI) at Imperial.
ECRI was established in 2024 to attract, develop, empower and advocate for the next generation of outstanding STEMB talent. ECRI’s team of 17 learning and development professionals provide a broad range of learning and development opportunities, events, tailored group and individual support and resources for early career researchers across the university. Each year, there are approximately 7,500 attendances at ECRI courses and programmes, and over 350 individuals access our tailored support.
What you would be doing
In this post you would design and deliver learning and development opportunities to ECRI stakeholders in a range of Research Impact and Knowledge Exchange topics. Additionally, you will work with and convene other ECRI staff and subject experts both within Imperial and beyond to enhance ECRI’s overall provision.
What we are looking for
We are looking for an individual with an existing substantial teaching profile, a background in working with early career researchers, and demonstrable expertise in STEMB research impact and knowledge exchange.
A relevant postgraduate qualification and a master’s level teaching qualification are essential, as is a willingness to work collaboratively and supportively across ECRI.
