The UK Hub for Predictive and AI-Enabled Human Disease Models is a UK national research initiative funded by MRC, which will translate academic New Approach Methodologies (NAMs) into validated, industry-ready systems. The Hub brings together leading scientists, clinicians and commercial organisations to drive advances for national benefit. The Hub is based in the Cambridge Stem Cell Institute (CSCI).

The Senior Knowledge Exchange Manager will manage knowledge exchange activities for the UK Hub (£25M). Translation and Knowledge Transfer and Exchange (KTE) are core operational functions across the Hub, forming the link between academia, SMEs, industry, NHS partners, regulators, charities, and patient communities, with translation embedded throughout all operational stages. 

The role holder will be supported by a Knowledge Exchange Coordinator and collectively this Hub KTE team will integrate with existing KTE structures in CSCI. They will lead the day-to-day operational coordination of industrial, NHS, regulatory, dissemination, and Intellectual Property (IP) activities in CSCI. Working with Cambridge Enterprise, the University's commercialisation arm, they will also provide expertise in IP, licensing, venture creation, seed funding, and industry partnership development.

We are seeking a proactive and highly organised Senior Knowledge Exchange Manager to play a central role in the delivery and development of this ambitious programme.

This is a dynamic and visible position at the heart of a high-impact research environment. The post holder will work closely with the Hub Senior Programme Manager, Directors, collaborators, scientists and partner organisations. 

Key Responsibilities will include strategic support and planning of KTE activities, operational management, administration and delivery of KTE objectives.

The successful candidate will hold a first degree in a relevant discipline, or equivalent professional experience and will have a background in biomedical or commercial research settings. They should have senior leadership experience in knowledge exchange or business engagement, and an understanding of research governance, regulatory issues and managing commercial collaborations. They will be comfortable operating in a fast-paced academic environment and able to engage effectively with a wide range of stakeholders, including researchers, clinicians, funders, and external commercial partners.

This is an opportunity to contribute directly to the success of the new UK Hub and offers significant scope to shape how the Hub operates, connects, and grows, both within Cambridge and across the UK.

Full-time (1.0 FTE; change to part time and flexible working arrangements available);
