The University of Greenwich is seeking an enthusiastic and committed Lecturer in Histories and Theories of Architecture (0.2 FTE) to join our Architecture team within the School of Design and Creative Industries.

This is an exciting opportunity for an educator and researcher with expertise in architectural history, theory, and critical studies to contribute to our well-established Architecture programmes. The successful candidate will play a key role in developing and delivering engaging, research-informed teaching across our BA Architecture and Master of Architecture programmes. 

About the Role

You will contribute to a vibrant academic environment by:

  • Developing, delivering, and administering modules in Histories and Theories of Architecture.
  • Teaching on undergraduate and postgraduate Architecture programmes.
  • Designing innovative, research-informed learning experiences that support student success.
  • Contributing to curriculum development and enhancement.
  • Providing academic tutoring and pastoral support to students.
  • Supporting recruitment, outreach, and engagement activities.
  • Contributing to scholarly activity and the integration of research into teaching.
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues across the Architecture portfolio and the wider School.

The successful candidate must be available on Monday afternoons and Tuesday mornings.
