An exciting and interesting opportunity has arisen within the Finance and Commercial Department at the University of Gloucestershire for an experienced and customer focused Finance Administrator to work in our income section, who can demonstrate strong accounts receivable and administration skills to add value in a busy and evolving environment.
The post is located within the Financial Operations Team; you will be a key member of the team and will be responsible for the processing of accounts receivable related transactions. You will be responsible for creating and uploading income journal files to our accounting system, recording payments and reconciling between payment processors, bank statements and our debtors ledger.
As a key contact for all income related enquiries, excellent communication and customer service skills are essential.
Applicants will be required to be hands on and have a flexible committed and proactive attitude to delivering an accurate, responsive service. You will be proactive in delivering a high-quality income function with a commitment to continuous improvement and must be responsive to change.
Good IT skills are essential, and you must have excellent organisational skills, be able to work under pressure, prioritise workloads and meet tight deadlines.
