Applications are invited for a fixed-term Stipendiary Lectureship in Economics at Worcester College, tenable from 1st October 2026 to 30th September 2027. The Lecturer will be required to give tutorials and classes to include first year teaching of Introductory Microeconomics and Macroeconomics and second year Microeconomics teaching. The teaching stint is four hours per week, averaged across the three terms. Other duties of the post include setting and marking college exams (‘collections’); working with colleagues in contributing to the administration of Economics Joint Schools in the College, the academic oversight of Economics undergraduate students, and the undergraduate admissions round.
The successful candidate will have a Bachelor of Arts degree (or equivalent) and be close to completing, or have completed, a doctoral degree in Economics or another relevant subject.
