Staring salary from £26,707 per annum, dependent on skills and experience, with an annual increment up to £30,378 per annum.
We are looking for an experienced administrator to provide dedicated PA support to the Dean of the School of Health Sciences, alongside playing a key role in coordinating the School’s administrative functions.
This is a varied, visible and rewarding role. As PA to the Dean, you will be a trusted first point of contact, managing a busy diary, coordinating meetings and correspondence, organising travel and ensuring actions are followed through. You will need excellent judgement, discretion and the ability to anticipate what is needed in a fast-moving environment.
Alongside this, you will help coordinate the work of the School administration team, providing leadership, guidance and support to a number of school administrators and contributing to the effective delivery and continuous improvement of School processes.
You will work closely with colleagues across the School and wider University, as well as external partners and senior stakeholders.
We are looking for someone who is exceptionally organised, approachable and adaptable, with excellent communication skills and the ability to manage competing priorities, solve problems and work independently. Proven experience of providing PA support would be particularly valuable.
This is an excellent opportunity to play a central role in supporting the Dean and School leadership, while helping to shape and deliver an effective, responsive and professional administrative service across the School.
This full-time post is available immediately on an indefinite basis.
