We're seeking a Building Control professional to join our Associate Lecturer team as a Module Leader for the Undergraduate Building Control Integrated Degree Apprenticeship End Point Assessment (EPA). This is an exciting opportunity to support the next generation of Building Control professionals through the final stage of their degree and apprenticeship journey.

Your accountabilities and responsibilities include:

  • Ensure all student queries and posts on your module are responded to by you within 24 hours

Our main requirements:

  • Degree level qualification in Building Control or cognate discipline
  • Full membership of the Chartered Association of Building Engineers (MCABE) or Chartered Institute of Building (MCIOB)
  • Relevant industry experience in the role of a built environment practitioner or established research/CPD or tutoring record to be able to deliver education in Building Control, within the context of current and emerging digital and data environments

At University of the Built Environment we expect employees to demonstrate our values: Passion, Integrity, Excellence and Support. Student satisfaction and success are our main drivers, and our people consistently report high levels of employee engagement; your contribution will be valued should you join us.

We are a long-standing and leading provider of supported online education with a long-term ambition to be the world’s most sustainable university.
