About the Role

The Student Experience Project Delivery Manager will play a key role in delivering strategic and operational projects that enhance the student experience across Queen Mary University of London. The postholder will independently manage projects and lead workstreams within larger cross-University programmes, ensuring projects are delivered on time and to a high standard.

Working closely with colleagues across faculties, schools, institutes, professional services and the Students' Union, you will coordinate project activities, develop project documentation, monitor progress, manage risks, analyse data, support organisational change, and contribute to the continuous improvement of project management processes.

About You

You will have a degree or equivalent professional experience, together with experience of planning and delivering projects or service improvement initiatives. You will be highly organised, able to manage competing priorities, and confident building productive relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.

You will possess excellent analytical, communication and problem-solving skills, with experience of preparing reports and project documentation. Strong IT skills, including Microsoft 365 applications such as Excel, PowerPoint, Teams and SharePoint, are essential. Experience of supporting organisational change is required, while experience within Higher Education, project management methodologies or qualifications, and project management software would be advantageous.

About the Department

The Student Experience Directorate brings together a number of teams delivering a wide range of services that support students throughout their journey at Queen Mary University of London. Working collaboratively with faculties, schools, institutes, professional services and the Students' Union, the Directorate leads and supports University-wide initiatives that enhance the student experience and contribute to the delivery of the University's strategic priorities.

This role sits within the Directorate's Operations and Improvement team, which is responsible for delivering strategic and operational projects, supporting organisational change, driving continuous improvement, and ensuring effective project governance across Student Experience. The team works closely with colleagues across the University to develop innovative, student-focused services and improve the effectiveness of institutional processes.
