We are a diverse and inclusive team of dedicated professionals who are committed and passionate about what we do. Our main office is at the Greenwich Campus with very occasional travel to Avery Hill and Medway campuses required. We have actively embraced hybrid working with our team splitting their time between 2 days per week in the office and the remainder remote working.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Develop and maintain a variety of regular reports relating to the recruitment of new students to the university (from application through to enrolment) and the total student population.
  • Perform in-depth analysis to identify trends and patterns across a variety of datasets relevant to the number of students at the university.
  • Work on forecasts of how many students the university will have in the future in order to inform strategic and investment decisions.
  • Build effective working relationships with colleagues across the institution, but in particular Marketing and External Relations, senior management of academic faculties and the Financial Planning and Analysis team.
  • Support the Directorate’s university-wide communities of practice (such as a data champions network) to improve organisational data and analysis capability.
  • Provide support to the implementation of data transformation projects and any such activities linked to the implementation of any data strategy.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Significant experience in data analysis and the use of data processing or visualisation tools, (e.g.MS Excel, Microsoft Fabric environment, Power BI, Tableau, Alteryx, Python or similar applications/software).
  • Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams, collaborating with colleagues from across the institution and managing senior stakeholders.
  • Capability to identify and address strategic challenges and business problems using data-driven approaches.
  • Ability to automate and improve processes to drive efficiency and reliability.
  • Ability to prioritise, organise and manage a varied and demanding workload without constant supervision.
