Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) and the Mathematisches Forschungsinstitut Oberwolfach (MFO) jointly invite applications for a W3 Professorship in Mathematics (Berliner Modell). The Mathematisches Forschungsinstitut Oberwolfach (MFO, Oberwolfach Research Institute for Mathematics) is an international research centre situated in the German Black Forest. Leading experts from all over the world meet at the Institute in order to pursue their research activities, to discuss recent developments in their field, and to generate new ideas. The Institute is a member of the Leibniz Association and is funded jointly by the German federal government and the state governments.

We Offer
Salary
Salary is governed by the statutory provisions of the State of Baden-Württemberg and comprises the basic salary of salary grade W3.
In addition, the granting of performance-related pay components is possible. The family allowance is paid, where applicable, in accordance with civil service law.
