About the team or project:
We are a mechanical operations and planned maintenance team consisting of eight staff, including six mechanical engineers, a supervisor and a Mechanical Maintenance Manager, working under the Estates Operations banner alongside the Electrical and Fabric teams. We operate across a campus estate of approximately 44 buildings, including residential properties and the sports complex at Platt Lane.

We are looking for enthusiastic and proactive individuals with mechanical engineering experience in a busy site-based environment, or transferable skills gained from other mechanical sectors.
Strong communication skills are essential, along with the ability to work effectively with management, staff and students on a daily basis. The successful candidate will be confident managing their workload while supporting team members across all areas of work.
A commitment to continuous improvement of business processes and a strong team-focused ethos is also important.
