We have an exciting opportunity to join our team in the key role of Lead: Quality Assurance at the SCQF Partnership.

Working as part of our Assurance team, you will play a key role in assuring the quality and integrity of Scotland’s National Qualifications Framework and its National Register of Qualifications. You will help shape and develop our approach to quality assurance, while finding new and innovative ways to support credit rating bodies and other stakeholders across Scotland.

The role

  • Full-time, Glasgow/hybrid

The role will involve leading the ongoing development and monitoring of the National Register of Qualifications, reviewing and developing quality assurance policies and guidance, and working closely with partners including the Quality Assurance Agency (QAA) and Credit Rating Bodies.

You will also lead the development of new approaches to engaging with partners, including the use of digital tools and e-learning to improve efficiency, engagement and quality. You will have opportunities to develop and deliver training and capacity-building programmes and to contribute to research into emerging policy and practice.

As a Lead Officer, you will work collaboratively across the organisation and represent and advocate for the SCQF on national groups and at external forums. You will be confident presenting to different audiences and building strong relationships with partners and stakeholders.

We are looking for someone who is collaborative, adaptable and committed to continuous professional development. An interest in Lean or Agile approaches, digital developments and the ethical and responsible use of AI in quality assurance would also be an advantage.
