Georgetown University in Qatar (GU-Q) invites applications for one (1) teaching faculty position in Mathematics.
The successful candidate will hold an M.A. or Ph.D. in mathematics or a closely related field. They will have demonstrated excellence in teaching undergraduate mathematics, including calculus and pre-calculus, and in supporting students across disciplines who require quantitative coursework. The ability to teach linear algebra is preferred but not required.
Academic Environment and Faculty Support
Teaching Faculty teach three courses (or 9 credit hours) per semester (a 3-3 load), supported by best-in-class instructional infrastructure. This includes the Global Classroom, which connects students in Doha with peers in Washington, D.C., for live, cross-campus engagement, and access to collaborative research centers such as the Center for International and Regional Studies (CIRS).
