We are looking for a commercially focused Deputy Director (Marketing & Student Recruitment), with extensive experience in delivering HE marketing, to lead our student marketing and recruitment activity and deliver our ambitious student recruitment targets.
With responsibility for generating an annual student recruitment income target of over 80m, you will develop and implement an insight-led, omni-channel marketing and recruitment strategy spanning domestic and international markets. You will lead teams covering market research, UK recruitment and outreach, paid media and campaigns, international and omnichannel marketing, CRM and conversion.
This is a high-profile leadership role, working closely with senior colleagues across our university to deliver an excellent prospect and applicant journey and maximise applications, conversion and enrolments across multiple markets, whilst successfully communicating the Aston brand.
You will champion a data-driven, customer-first culture, using market insight, innovation and digital marketing to drive applications, enrolments and return on investment. You will have a track record of improving lead generation, conversion, processes and customer journeys within a large university setting. Experience in developing high performing teams is essential, and you will be someone who thrives under pressure, with the ability to articulate a clear vision and motivate others to achieve it.
We are seeking an experienced senior marketing leader with a strong track record of leading large, multi-disciplinary teams, delivering student recruitment growth and achieving financial targets. You will bring substantial expertise across the marketing mix, including CRM, advertising, brand, market research and digital marketing, alongside the ability to influence senior stakeholders and build high-performing teams.
This role is subject to a satisfactory Enhanced DBS check.
