Here’s more about the role and what we’re looking for:
We are seeking an ambitious and critically engaged artist and academic to join Fine Art within the School of Design and Creative Arts at Loughborough University.
This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a thriving Fine Art community and to contribute to the next stage of its development. Fine Art at Loughborough places studio practice, making, experimentation and critical enquiry at the heart of the student experience, encouraging ambitious and individual approaches to contemporary practice.
You will join a collaborative team and contribute to the creative and intellectual life of Fine Art, helping to shape our studio culture, research activity and future direction. We welcome applicants working across all areas of contemporary Fine Art and value approaches that encourage experimentation, interdisciplinary thinking and new ways of making and understanding art.
The role also offers opportunities to develop collaborations across the School and University and to build relationships with galleries, cultural organisations and wider communities.
We are looking for someone to contribute to an ambitious Fine Art programme while developing their own practice, research and academic career at Loughborough.
