About the Role

The Programme Administrator role sits within the Institute of Dentistry and supports the delivery of all undergraduate and postgraduate dental programmes. The purpose of this role is to provide excellent professional administrative support to the Education Manager and assigned Academic Leads for Education, enabling the smooth and effective delivery of taught programmes across the Institute.

The postholder will play a key role in supporting the student lifecycle, coordinating programme administration, organising teaching and assessment activities, and ensuring compliance with university and regulatory requirements. They will contribute to the delivery of a high-quality educational experience for dental students and support the Institute's commitment to excellence in teaching, learning, and assessment.

About You

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual with experience in programme administration, within Higher Education (HE), preferably within a health professions or clinical education environment. You will have excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.

You will possess strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, with a proven track record of building productive relationships with academic staff, clinical educators, NHS partners, and external stakeholders. An understanding of the requirements of clinical and dental education, together with a commitment to supporting high-quality teaching and learning, would be advantageous.
