St. Lawrence University London Programme invites candidates to apply for the newly opened position of lecturer in Psychology of Business. The selected candidate will be responsible for designing, preparing, and teaching a course titled Psychology of London Business.

The goal of the course is to familiarize liberal arts students studying on our semester abroad program with London/UK business culture. Students would analyze the development of London workplace culture and practice, considering the influence of both British and diverse international business cultures/traditions. The ideal course would include experiential components, such as field trips, guest speakers, or workshops, with the objective of exposing students to the history and practice of London business in the context of London’s position as a global city.

The course could be taught within an organizational/business psychology, behavioral economics, or sociology of business framework and so we welcome applicants from within these fields. Qualified applicants from other academic fields and backgrounds may also be considered. 

Candidates should submit the following:

  1. letter of interest that addresses their academic and professional background, as well as their approach to teaching a Psychology of London Business course, including potential topics and experiential activities that might be included in the course;
  2. CV that lists their academic achievements, teaching experience, and other professional experiences related to the subject of this course;
  3. the names of three professional references with telephone and e-mail contacts (if not already included in CV). 

The minimal academic degree of an applicant is a Master’s or its equivalent in the candidate’s own discipline ( RQF level 7).

The applicant must be able to prove their right to work in the UK. The St. Lawrence University London Programme is unable to provide visa sponsorship for this position.

This appointment will be fixed term for the Spring 2027 semester (mid January- mid May).
