Chef de Partie

This role is eligible for the Campus Services New Starter Bonus* (£1,000) and Campus Services Refer a Friend bonus*. 

We have an exciting and rare opportunity for you to join our lively kitchen team at the world-class University of Bath. We’re looking for a talented Chef de Partie who’s passionate about food and eager to bring creativity and skill to our menus.

About the role

Our outlets offer a diverse range of dining experiences, from global street food to fine dining, so no two days are the same. You’ll be part of a collaborative team that values innovation and quality.

You will :

• Take ownership of your section and lead by example
• Mentor and support junior kitchen staff
• Work alongside a team of six Chef de Parties, with guidance from our Sous Chefs and Head Chef
• Contribute your ideas to our ever-evolving menus – we love fresh inspiration!

About you

We’re looking for someone who takes pride in their work and naturally takes ownership of their responsibilities in the kitchen. You’ll be:

• Hard-working and dependable, with a strong commitment to maintaining high standards.
• A strong team player who communicates clearly and works well with others.
• Calm and solutions-focused, with the ability to handle challenges professionally.
• Able to work well under pressure while staying organised and positive.
• Proactive and organised, making good use of quieter periods to prepare for the next shift.

This role is offered on a full-time, permanent basis, 36.5 hours per week.

Campus Services New Starter bonus*. In addition to the great benefits Campus Services’ offers, we can offer you a £1,000 bonus. This is payable the month after successfully passing your six months’ probation. Please note this bonus is pro rata for part time roles.
