Lecturer in Child Nursing (0.4 FTE)

As part of one of the UK’s largest providers of nursing, allied health professions, social work and social care education, you will be joining a dynamic and supportive community of academics, practitioners and researchers. Our school is committed to delivering high-quality, research-informed teaching that promotes active, collaborative learning.

In this role, you will become part of a team of academic practitioners who innovate, teach and support learners across both undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. While you will contribute specialist teaching for students in children’s nursing, you will also play a key role in delivering interprofessional education across the wider School of Health and Social Care. You will support post-registration learners through our CPD portfolio, and you will have opportunities to contribute to research, scholarly activity, and project work.

You will need:

• The ability to design and deliver transformative, innovative, and inclusive learning experiences.
• Knowledge and understanding of critical, practical, and theoretical issues relevant to children’s nursing and the broader health and social care landscape.
• Experience of teaching, training, or supervising undergraduate/postgraduate nursing or other healthcare professionals in either practice or academic settings.
• Current NMC registration as a Children’s Nurse and evidence of ongoing professional development.
