About the role:
At King’s, Strategy 2030 sets out bold ambitions to increase opportunities for our alumni to contribute and we’re looking for a skilled Alumni Communities Officer to develop and deliver King’s global alumni networks programme, cultivating meaningful relationships with some of our most committed alumni volunteers. As we launch our Philanthropy & Alumni Engagement Campaign in 2027, the Alumni Communities Officer will deliver opportunities that foster a sense of connection and belonging within our global alumni community at this exciting time for the university.
As Alumni Communities Officer, you will lead on all aspects of the volunteer networks programme, overseeing the journey from volunteer recruitment and committee management to event support and promotion of activity, with a key focus around our Campaign launch.
Reporting to the Senior Alumni Manager (Volunteering), you will work with KCL Alumni Associations and International Alumni Leaders to ensure their activity supports with King’s goals, as well as manage initiatives such as the Alumni Leader Forum and Global Day of Service. You will also work closely with the Senior Alumni Manager (Volunteering) to project manage Philanthropy & Alumni Engagement’s international trips across the year.
This is a full-time post, and you will be offered a fixed term contract until 31 December 2027. P&A has a hybrid working approach, with a minimum of 40% of time in the office. Typically, this equates to two days per week, but we’re very happy for colleagues to be in more frequently if they so wish.
