Location: On campus – East India Campus
ARU London offers a range of undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Business and Management; Finance and Accounting; Hospitality, Events and Tourism; Health; and Law. We currently have over 6,000 students, located at our East London campus, very close to the East India Docklands Light Railway stop.
We are seeking an experienced, commercially minded and relationship-focused Strategic Employer Partnerships Manager to support the development and delivery of ARU London's Employer Engagement Strategy. Working closely with the Director of Employer Engagement, you will lead the development of strategic partnerships with employers, professional bodies, industry organisations and external stakeholders that create meaningful opportunities for students and graduates. You will play a key role in expanding opportunities for placements, internships, graduate employment, mentoring, networking, volunteering, live projects and employer-led learning while helping to strengthen graduate outcomes and industry engagement across the institution.
The successful candidate will bring significant experience in employer engagement, partnership development, business development or employability, with a proven track record of building strategic relationships and delivering measurable outcomes. You will be an excellent communicator and influencer, capable of engaging senior stakeholders across a range of sectors while identifying opportunities that support student success and organisational objectives. A strong understanding of graduate employability, employer engagement and the UK labour market is essential.
Working alongside the Director of Employer Engagement and colleagues across ARU London, you will help embed employer engagement within the curriculum, expand external networks and partnerships, and increase opportunities for students and graduates to connect with industry. You will represent ARU London at networking events, conferences and employer forums, monitor partnership performance and contribute insight that supports institutional priorities and Graduate Outcomes performance.
