Lecturer (Above the Bar) in Public Health

UCC wishes to appoint to the role of Lecturer (Above the Bar) in Public Health Nursing. The appointee will be expected to contribute to teaching, assessment and programme development and administration at undergraduate and postgraduate level, as well as engage in relevant research. The successful appointee will hold a professional midwifery qualification, have held or hold a registration (or be eligible to register) in Public Health Nursing with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland. Applicants will be expected to have an academic qualification to Master’s level and be registered for or have completed a PhD / Doctorate. Applicants also expected to have considerable community health nursing experience.

Appointment may be made on Lecturer (Above Bar) Salary Scale: €80,776 - €104,610 (Scale B) / €76,852 - €99,378 (Scale A).

Salary placement on appointment will be in accordance with public sector pay policy.
