We are seeking an experienced and skilled educator / practitioner to join the School of Design and Creative Arts as a University Teacher in Industrial Design.
This is an opportunity to join a thriving design community in the School and help strengthen and contribute to how we move forward in our Industrial Design education. Our approach revolves around a fundamental understanding of design process and studio-based learning. It blends traditional skills with cutting edge approaches and spans initial ideation, sketching, design research, CAD, prototyping, design for manufacture, sustainability, and inclusivity. You will be able to demonstrate excellence in teaching and student engagement as well as a high level of industrial design practice skills.
You will join a collaborative team and contribute to the creative and intellectual direction of Industrial Design. We welcome applicants working across all areas of Industrial Design and welcome experience and approaches that can support and challenge our students, our curricula and ways of working.
We are looking for the successful applicant to contribute to the future of Industrial Design at Loughborough.
