About the Role

Responsible for the day-to-day management of WBS social media channels and content, working across a variety of social media platforms including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and LinkedIn. 

The role holder will work as an expert advising the WBS marketing team and ambassadors, to create and implement compelling content and deliver organic and paid social media tactical plans to support student recruitment, raise the profile of the WBS brand, campus and our research impact. 

They will provide analytics, guidelines and insight to enable Warwick Business School to continuously improve and work with programme marketing teams on creating content where required.

About You

You’ll be a creative, organised and digitally savvy communicator with a strong understanding of social media and what makes content work across different platforms. You’ll bring:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail.
  • A creative mindset and the ability to develop original, engaging content for a range of digital and social channels.
  • Experience of undertaking market and audience research to inform content decisions.
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and deliver accurate, high-quality work.
  • The ability to build effective working relationships with colleagues, stakeholders and external agencies.
  • Experience using content planning, social media scheduling, monitoring and analytics tools.
  • Confidence using data and insight to evaluate performance, optimise activity and continually improve results.
  • Strong working knowledge of major social platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, X, LinkedIn, TikTok and YouTube.
  • A proactive approach to keeping up with emerging platforms, trends and digital technologies.
  • Flexibility to support social media activity outside standard working hours on occasion.

Experience within higher education, alongside an understanding of SEO and web accessibility, would be advantageous.
