Salary Grade 6 is £46,474 - £51,459 per annum, including London Weighting.

(The pro-rata salary for Grade 6 [0.5 FTE] is £23,237 - £25,729 per annum, including London Weighting.)

Lecturer in Advanced Theatre Practice on MA/MFA Advanced Theatre Practice. This is an opportunity for a practitioner-academic to implement new curricula, pedagogy, research and knowledge exchange in line with Central’s strategic plan to educate, train and inspire the changemakers of theatre and the performing arts.

We seek a specialist in one or more of the following: Contemporary (heterarchical) Theatre Directing and Performance Composition; Interdisciplinarity and Collaborative Processes, and/or Contemporary Performance Making and Practices.

The post-holder will also engage in personal academic tutoring and MFA practice-research supervision. We encourage applicants who are actively engaged with theatre/performance industries as well as the academy, cross-disciplinary organisations and/or minorities and under-represented artists and communities.

We seek applicants who can demonstrate a commitment to reparative theatre-making practices and diversifying theatre and performance education at postgraduate level.
