An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Workforce Development Administrator (Sport) to join the UEA+Sport Department of the Sportspark.

The UEA+Sport team are looking to recruit a self-motivated, organised and enthusiastic individual to support the development of student placements, work experience, and volunteering opportunities, and to help students develop their skills, experience, and employability within sport, physical activity, education, and related sectors.

We are looking for an administrator with a passion for supporting people and developing the sport workforce, who will work closely with students, placement providers, schools, sporting organisations and colleagues across the University. You will help to identify and develop high-quality placement and work experience opportunities, ensuring they are inclusive, safe, well-supported and aligned with relevant programme and module learning outcomes.

Your duties will include supporting and monitoring student placements; developing and maintaining relationships with schools, sports organisations and other external partners; administering work experience opportunities within UEA Sport and Sportspark; coordinating the UEA Sport Volunteer Academy; supporting volunteer recruitment, onboarding and CPD; administering sports club committee training; maintaining accurate records and tracking student destinations; and monitoring and evaluating opportunities to support continuous improvement.

You must have A-levels (or equivalent qualifications or directly relevant experience), together with experience of providing administrative support and working with internal and external partners. Experience of working in an educational setting is also desirable. Excellent communication, interpersonal, customer service, IT, organisational and administrative skills are essential, together with the ability to manage competing priorities, work to deadlines and support the professional development of others.

This part-time post (0.5 FTE) is available from 19 October 2026 on a fixed term basis for 12 months.
