- THE ROLE -
 
The postholder will lead on survey design and the development and validation of questions, and they will have responsibility for data analysis and reports and articles. The postholder will ensure data accuracy, harmonisation, and comparability across both primary and secondary datasets in Ireland and Northern Ireland that will form part of the PHKH (Public Health Knowledge Hub), the All-Island Institute of Public Health (IPH).

In partnership with the All-Ireland Institute for Public Health, the Bamford Centre for Mental Health and Wellbeing at Ulster University and the Global Brain Health Institute at Trinity College Dublin, has been awarded a PEACEPLUS grant of €2.4 million for a 3-year project to develop an All-Island Public Health Knowledge Hub. The Public Health Knowledge Hub (PHKH) will address the lack of standardised public health data across Ireland and Northern Ireland. It will create a single, publicly accessible portal for all-island public health data, enhancing public health research and policy and supporting evidence-based decision-making and coordinated health responses across the island.

- ABOUT YOU -

The postholder will be required to have:

- A PhD (or equivalent) with substantial quantitative research expertise.
- Substantial experience of applying advanced quantitative and statistical methods within health, public health or related research settings.
- Knowledge and experience of data harmonisation methods.
