The Role

We are recruiting to the role of Recruitment Events Officer to join our dynamic and exciting events team. This will be a fantastic opportunity to join a team that plays a crucial role in the recruitment of students to the University.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Delivering an outstanding visitor experience for prospective students and their supporters, successfully generating student applications and enrolments from appropriately qualified students, regardless of background.
• Working in close collaborative partnership with internal colleagues across a range of academic and student support departments to deliver large scale on campus events that are enjoyable, informative and inspiring.
• Working with Communications and Marketing to ensure the delivery of effective communications to support attendance at on campus recruitment events. Will also demonstrate the ability to think innovatively and creatively about how to develop and improve on campus events.

The successful candidate will have skills and experience in:

• Successful relationship management of a diverse stakeholder group (e.g. prospective students, current students, academic colleagues, partner institutions, commercial partners)
• An ability to write and deliver highly engaging presentations and workshops about Roehampton to external audiences, typically in relation to the possibilities of studying at the University, adapting tone and message accordingly
• Ability to create and deliver dynamic, customer friendly events that maximise partner and student engagement with Roehampton while acting as an ambassador for the University at all times.
• Ability to develop a variety of student facing resources to support and enhance recruitment and outreach such as presentations and workshops dealing with a variety of themes, such as university finance, the higher education learning environment and employability
